Is everything okay now?


I've got Fran's screwed up a bit, it initaly loaded with 2 exe's, then Wrye Bash told me it needed additional modules, now I've got 2 Fra New Crea.BSA's in my Data directory(1 has a -)(FranSeducerScriptFix still don't see it)

I've got a Missing Mesh of a Putrid Hand's Robe, it's referenced by Oscuro's, there are no conflicts in TES4Edit and the NIFs are in the right folder???

Can I just drag esps out of the Data folder and throw then in my install folder?? (Those installed by exe files)

Install the EXEs to a temp folder and properly pack it up.

Not sure if I'm just that Dense, but I'm only comming out with one BSA (for Items)on your Fran's guide, where do I get the creatures mod? don't I need these "Francesco's New Creatures Add-on is not "??

You should have downloaded both EXEs. There are two BSAs. The download instructions in that guide, if you read back to that page, tell you to download both executables. Someone went through that guide for me to make sure I had the right installation options checked.

I'm not seeing it, I have both Exe's, I follow your instructions for executing Both of them, both times it tells me to "Make SURE the Francesco's New Creatures Add-on is not checked" and the only BSA is for new items..., can I use the BSA I allready have for the creatures ?

No, they are different BSAs. That does not make sense. When I say do not check the new creatures add-on, that does not apply to the second executable. The one that installs the BSAs. The instructions launch the EXEs separately....

It should come from the one where I said make sure it IS checked. The "is not checked" line stops the ESM from being installed.

Edit: I think the creatures BSA is installed with the main executable, the one with all of the options. The new items BSA is installed by the second executable.

Edit: I forgot about this, but a number of people have had trouble installing the new creatures BSA, so http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17621 I will add a note about that to my guide, thanks.

Sweet! Sorry about the mix up. I even had the bloody BSA in my data folder as well...fixed that. I ran all over the guide changing instructions. Now I am using the "FCOM_Francescos.bsa" as the standard renaming option. You have to use the FCOM module for Fran, so that is as good as any other choice.

I Just finished packing it, Think I'll leave it is SI for now...

Wouldn't that create the creatures BSA if I did check the creatures box??

Ok,, for Fran's you have to check both Items & Creatures in the OptionalNewItemsCreature exe, that will generate both BSA's.

I went through and cleaned up my installation considerably, but it didn't seem to help with the issues I was having,

as adding Fast exit 2 to my game was on my todo list ..i just did...Worked a charm havent NOT had a crash since about the 60 th out of my 200 mods were installed.

That being said I did notice this . the Mod is packaged a little different then most. IT is set up to be extracted to the Oblivion DIR, and not the Data folder. Do this Look in your Data folder do you have a data folder in there? if so drop that Folder on the Oblivion folder. Also, in the Oblivion Folder is this File.......OBSE.log Give that a read see if if says the DLL is loading or there is a problem.

??, WeOCPS didn't make a difference, it was hanging with a new game, Fresh install , FastExit2 installed & OBSE, actually right from the start...

I'm confused on the BSA naming, would I add FraNewCre & FranNewItems after ??, does it really make a differance??
Do I need Mart's to be FcomConvergance as well??
(their allready installed to the Data folder, but I AM haveing Mesh issues)

Someone caught the issue with my Fran instructions earlier, thankfully. The problem is that the plugin forcing the BSA's to load must be active, and FCOM_Francescos.esp should be merged and deactivated. The name I suggested in my last post corresponds to a plugin that must be active. I thought you already renamed your MMM BSA? Renaming it to "FCOM_Convergence.bsa" would work though. Using the names of active plugins in your load order simply saves you the extra plugin slot that would be used for the dummy plugin is all. If your MMM BSA is already renamed appropriately, then do not worry about it. For FCOM, you should not have the Fran creatures BSA installed.

I thought I had Several plugIns that require the Creature Mod??

2* Took it out..., (still crash on Exit, I'm starting to suspect a Windows configuration on that)

Yes. I think you may need a space between "DLCShiveringIsles" and the hyphen, but I have not tested that.

Appear to be Good so far, I had a few differant ones, most look good,.. sound's acting up now..., haven't look for anything yet though...
