A few questions about my Assassin

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 9:21 pm

I just wanted to know if putting perks into the perk called "Stealth" is worth it? It's the skill that increases your ability to sneak by a percentage. I've bought the first one to open the other stealth tree perks but I was wondering if I should put more perks into that skill? (Maximum is 5/5 - 40% sneak I think). Also is the Perk Shadow Warrior (req. 100 Sneak) worth getting? I usually if caught can run away and sneak behind an obstacle and if it's dark and I'm lucky the'll miss me and I'll become hidden.

Also is the Archery perk Bullseye (req. 100 Archery - 15% paralyzation) worth it as well?

My character is level 25 I think and he has 200 Health and 250 Stamina. At the moment I've been playing as a pure archer and sneak character but soon I'm going to start dual wielding blades and cutting throats as well.
I'm playing on Master difficulty at the moment and loving the challenge. Do you think I should add more Health or continue to add Stamina?

This is my build at the very moment and I've got a few perks saved for my future Archery and Stealth perks: http://go.ign.com/rrhGJe

I was thinking of adding to my build like this: http://bit.ly/uuA32g
I was thinking of getting Fighting Stance, Savage Strike and Paralyzing Strike as well, maybe Critical Charge. Also does Bladesman (Sword critical damage) work for daggers as well or are they seperate? I was also thinking of adding Alchemy to my character as well for role-play.

I play on Master difficulty and I like to role-play so I will not be using magic at all for this character. I was even contemplating whether or not to use dual daggers, but I think it will be fun for my assassin instead of using the bow all the time.

Thanks for the help :)

Maybe make Health 250 and either go 1:1 or just add stamina for the sprint/zoom and capacity. Maybe 300 Health cap. As for those skills. I don't know about the extra 20% stealh for the next 4 perk points. I think the Paralyzation might be helpful (Does it work on Dragons/Trolls/Mammoths and tough/large enemies?)

I also don't know how good Shadow Warrior is too. Sorry for not so much help.

You don't need all 5 of the base sneak upgrades but you'll definitely want to get the right side of that tree. The bonus to sneak attacks with arrows and especially with daggers is just too good to be true!

Are the Sneak upgrades not helpful? I tried testing it and I did notice a slight improvement (My sneak is 92) but I chose to reload because they weren't that good of an improvement.

I might just get the perks when I'm the right level and see how well they perform. Though I usually find it hard to compare as they usually are similar.

Well my opinion is that 5/5 40% sneak is to much, my first sneak character i had 2/5 and i noticed at 100% sneak that wasn't really needed, they couldn't spot me anyways.
This time i went for 1/5 and it's still OP. But you need 1/5 to actually keep on building on that tree. The last perk is awesome, a bit OP aswell since you can just run up to 10 people on master difficulty spam CTRL for crouch and sneak attack them 1 shot. (I just tried it out, don't recommend CTRL spam playstyle).

I don't know if you're using pickpocket on your build (didn't check your link to your build). But if you do, you have to much stamina. Since you get the 100 weight thingie with the pickpocket tree.

Anyways just my opinion.

Haven't thought about the pickpocket tree. I could use the Steed stone as well for an extra +100. I like having a lot of Stamina so I can sprint and so that I can zoom for long periods of time.

Personaly if you're going for a pure stealth assassin then yes max out the entire stealth tree and the archery tree but I'd skip the paralysation perks because the probability is low.
