A few questions for interplay Admins/Devs.

I apologise for the sporadic question asking I may be about to partake in, amidst the excitement and overwhelming curiosity that gamesas is actually making games again (I swear I've just walked out of a Vault or something), I just had to ask a few things. Feel free to ignore/condemn me at your will. Or just point me towards what you think will help my enquiries :)

1) Project V13, I've read the Q&A, and understand a little about gamesas having some sortof license hold for Fallout. Does this mean if/when Project V13 is released it will be advertised as a Bethesda game? With perhaps a little gamesas logo in the bottom corner on the back? Or would it be fully gamesas, endorsed in some way by Bethesda? Or something else entirely?

2) Are there any plans to convert Van Buren into anything other than an abandoned project? I have read about Van Buren and what is was originally designed to be in terms of gameplay. But there are alot of details that elude me, I apologise if this is one of those questions that gets asked alot >_<

3) This is one I'm really curious about, I know a few details about the downfall of Black Isle and the abandonment of Fallout and it being passed around until it landed in Bethesdas hands etc. What I really want to know is, beyond a financial standpoint, was there any other reason for Fallouts abandonment by gamesas? Did gamesas sell the rights or were they bought beyond their control? And based on Project v13, gamesas must still be interested in developing and marketing Fallout games, will we see more of this in the future? Or does Bethesda have the right to condemn such actions? and lastly on this third subject, talking very ambitiously here. Would gamesas ever consider buying back the rights to Fallout, assuming they were in a position to do so? Would Bethesda be likely to correspond with this? (that's probably a question for them, but they don't seem very forthright with their answers) I don't know about any legalities involved with this, so forgive my overly general approach to such a potentialy complex question. -Formerly FalloutChris. But apparently was confused with Chris Taylor :p

Were the questions really that no-go?

I love gamesas and was more than glad to see them back in the game making business, and in the process of involving one of my favourite franchises in existence (pre-Fallout 3) and I get a cold shoulder, well that's nice :p

That's cool I can deal with that. I'll just offer my support from the sidelines *takes a disheartened step back* -Formerly FalloutChris. But apparently was confused with Chris Taylor :p

1. if i can remember right they got the rights for a fallout mmo. so yeah(i think) its gonna be gamesas all the way(thankfully).
2. nope. they said vb is dead.(heartbreaking i know...)
3. well the fallout rights wasnt the only thing they sold. but at least they got some part of it back.

i doubt it. put yourself in bethesdas shoes. would you sell the rights? So youre telling me FO3 is better than the first two? Okay i respect your opinion. Can we step outside for a sec?

Ahhh ok, I wasn't sure about ownership of rights, I don't know the difference between rights and licensing :p Well if it's all gamesas can do to keep Fallout alive, then that's good enough for me :) I just hope they get everything they need to make it happen (financing etc)

Well I guess I saw that coming, I don't mind so much that VB is cancelled, ok it svcks. But I don't doubt Chris and Jason's dedication to Fallout now or 10 years ago.

Aye, a part is far less painful to swallow than nothing at all. And I see your point about Bethesda, I kindof knew the answer to that, was just being hopelessly hopeful I guess :p I wouldn't of cared so much if it wasn't for Bethesda's blatant disregard to those supposed 'difficult questions' posed by many fans of true Fallout gameplay. Pete Hines's last podcast is the most recent evidence of this.

Thankyou for shedding some light on this anyway :) -Formerly FalloutChris. But apparently was confused with Chris Taylor :p
