I've always liked living in the wilderness rather than houses - ranging from the televanni outpost I made in Morrowind to now in odd places in Skyrim. Ive found a few good locations, namely the Alchemist Shack and the Bilegulch Mine, but haven't found any others that really stuck out. Im looking for a place to stash my loot and have it be safe, as well as be a nice place to look at. I prefer the Mine I was located in to the Alchemist Shack by far, but feel I need a change of scenery. A forge, alchemist table, enchanter, etc would be extremely welcome as well. So, any and all suggestions (that arent trollish) would be welcome.
Second question being, what companion should I be using on my newest character? Im a Two-hand using, familiar summoning, Dunmer and am not too fussy about the RP restrictions for companions. I just want one that would benefit me the most. I havent done the companions quest line yet again, but I do plan on using one of the companions that are made available from it. Should I be using Aela because she doesnt get in the way and I can summon a close quarters helper? Or one of the more suicidal big man type characters? If Aela, what secondary weapon should I equip her with (1H? 2H?)? How about armor? Im going to infer light armor, but would heavy armor make her useless?
As far as weapons go, which daedric two handed weapon should I smith? The axe does look the coolest, but im not sure whats efficient. A daedric greatsword seems incredibly strong by itself, would an axe or warhammer even be.. conventional?
And the least important of my questions is this: whatever happened to Tamriel rebuilt? As I recall they used to be going strong, but after checking the dates on the most recent topics none seem recent in any way shape or form. I wouldn't play it anyways, but I did love the atmosphere of Morrowind (Although it did have its flaws, such as rock 'em sock 'em robot fighting and quests that made you run to the ends of the earth).
Also decided to buy Skyrim on the console, so while suggestions of mods would be awesome to look at, they wouldn't really help at all.
Thanks!
