Dear Crytek company, you promised us dx11 support for your game Crysis 2.
I'm waiting for your answer.
I want to know WHEN DX11 will show up.
I'm no longer satisfied with your announcement that there will be DX11 support.
I bought this game over 2 months ago.

This is not customer support that I was expected. I feel cheated.

This is a global business, and Your approach to customers is unacceptable.

I would like to know the exact date of the DX11 patch.

It goes with out saying that anyone with a DX11 capable card and Crysis 2 would sign a petition that could reach a hundred thousand within a week on this issue. Crytek have ingored us to long on many long exsisting issues. Including the login issue stoping people like myself from be able to play at all.

Patience people.. Give them the time to get it right plus it must be close to release as was revealed in the recent youtube vid.

Well Crytek never stated that the game would support DX11 until after the game was released so those that think they are owed DX11 tech are wrong. Although some of the CryEngine3 tech demos that appeared to feature DX11 tech and demonstrated Crysis 2 in them may have given the impression that the game would support it. Also Nvidia stating Crysis 2 was DX11 didn't help.

Crytek could have clarified this earlier but who knows. I reckon they expected to release with DX11 but then realised they were never gonna make the release date.

Personally I can wait. I have played through once and will play through again with the patch but I can hold off till the end of the year. Better that they get it right IMO.

Olo1602 dont bother man! Seriously dont expect that they announce any specific date. They were unable to do this with the regular patches and the wont be able to do this with the DX11 - and you know why? because thats the way they make their software and they made this game.

I know, it will not have the graphics like Crysis have, but what most important for me is the gameplay.

Well Nvidia has already been showing off Crysis 2 in DX11. So either Crytek is intentionally keeping us in the dark, or made a demo specifically for Nvidia. Given their recent business practices, its probably the first option.

Because honestly once we have DX11 and the SDK there is no reason for us to buy anything from them. Why else don't you think we didn't have those options out of the box?

Didn't the guy showing the dx11 say in the video (the one that showed the stage and audience) "dx11 is coming soon, very soon actually" towards the end?

More game sales for Crytek and more NVIDIA card upgrading sales, that's probably why they're holding it back. Crytek probably signed to a deal with NVIDIA.
