my reasons for it being worse.- sub par story. obnoxius online community. and very short campaign.

my reasons for it being better- phenomanol story. intresting chracters. good graphics(for the time). fun yet challenging combat. open world. and the fact that you start to really care about the fate of the characters.

his reasons for it svcking- bad graphics. no guns. turn based combat."magic"(because its stupid). takes to long to play. no multiplayer

i showed him Mw2. because despite its faults its still kinda fun. and its the only game he is good at.(he is prestige 3)

FFVII = Linear RPG
MW2 = Multiplayer FPS

The listed "reasons" were suspect in the OP, but getting dental surgery is better than FF7. At least after the grueling hardship of the surgery you have gained something positive.

So, I can't vote because of how the poll was constructed, but my vote would go for MW2 as to which is a better game... and I haven't ever played MW2.

You're comparing apples and oranges here - not only are the games very different but you're using different metrics to determine their respective worth. You're sort of asking "Is MW2 a better late 90s JRPG or FFVII a better modern FPS?"
