FIGHT! CYRUS! FIGHT!

Post » Tue Nov 02, 2010 1:11 am

Smoke and zombies, moving en masse to overloaded buses. Stragglers moving to cabs, again overloaded, and thence the gypsy cabs come, forty dollars anywhere you want to go (probably home) after the No One Remembers the [censored] Off to King George.

Handheld acting funny, but it looks like Thras. First I need a hot dog. Before anything, I need another hot dog.

So hotdogs and alcohol are the secrets to your powers? And it is most definetly Thras, by about a 20 vote lead.

Wait, there are people who have the secret to their powers NOT be hot dogs? Mind blown.

Well, I am eager to see how Thras gets its ass handed to it.

Sounds a lot like the night I had last night. The fireworks show in San Diego was awesome. Of course, having a view from the flight deck of an aircraft carrier helps. :celebration:

So, Thras wins. Been too long since Cyrus kicked some Sload butt...N'Gasta's brethren better watch out. Should be a great read.

With all the Akavir hype, it should have won. Akavir's the most popular topic in the forum.

It would have been awesome to get an inside peek on the continent, but maybe another day.

It was there last minute, and there were some folks who were twisting the results and probably didn't want to move 40 of their votes to Akavir

True, but I was counting on Akavir to absorb way more votes. I wonder how many times Michael Kirkbride voted?

I'd have liked to have seen Akavir..but in a way it's fitting that it remains a land of mystery.

Thras is very interesting too.

I voted for Pelinal, because I can't get enough of diamond shaped war fractals, but I'm looking forward to learning more about the slug men too. Maybe, if we all believe hard enough, MK will make a Marvel Secret Wars-style epic that incorporates all of them. Can Cyrus, Tiber Septim, Pelinal Whitestrake and Dr. Doom put aside their differences to conquer the might of THE BEYONDER?

Are the Sload similar to Jabba the Hutt? Throw some salt on these slugs. :)

So is this going to be written in an Aldudagga fashion, or is it going to be more like the Sword Meeting? Just wondering :)

It depends on what perspective he's writing it from. Neither party is Nordic so I doubt it'll be Aldudagga style. But if he writes it from the Sload perspective then it'll be very very interesting.

Pelinal was a chosen holy knight. With Holy Weapons. I would have to go with the General/Emperor Tiber Septim.

Pelinal wasn't some chosen holy knight, he was a terminator sent from the future!

Ah, reading things has its benifits. Only now, too late, do I see that the thread's subtitle is "Sword Meeting". I rather liked the first one, particularly the lore it gave, so I'm very much hoping this one is similarly informative. And awesome :P

Yeah, but he was a holy crusading insane terminator who thought Khajiit were elves. Big difference from either.
