FIGHT! CYRUS! FIGHT!

Post » Sun Oct 31, 2010 6:38 pm

I'm a massive lurker but very rarely login or post but the thought of a sload fight was too good an opportunity to pass up!

Arise, ye lurkers! Too long have you shunned your swords!

In the case of a tie... hmm.

AHA.

THREE WAY, but to retain my own sanity, I'd have to double the time of the least popular fighter. But who doesn't love a THREE WAY? Rig the votes, you fools.

Filthy with the histrionica,

MK

Voted for Pelinal - Best armour

Will you, MK, be writing a descriptive battle of the two winners of this poll?

Voted MK, because a three-way battle between the aforementioned, Cyrus, and the Sload would be better than fish cakes.

I don't know anymore, MK vs Cyrus would be awesome
but The Entire Kingdom of Thras Vs. Cyrus would be EPIC
but a god vs cyrus would be intense

Oh nah

Oh nah

Oh well Thras
(only because I know MK will win)

I said The Snow Whale Bull of the Northern Clouds in Skyrim. Firstly, that is an impressive name to an impressive mental image (at least for me), secondly, I am in a Skyrim frame of mind to begin with.

I would have said Pelinal, but there isn't really a lot of wiggle-room in a fight like that.

*sigh* Why not THAT story?!?

Good to see ya, Xan.

Because THAT story does not belong solely to me. I can't do it without, ya know, the rest of the band. And I really wouldn't want to, anyway.

I can imply THAT story, as I did with the Vicec meeting, but I can't and just won't write it until all the True Trees decide to finally (if ever) share tendrils.

Yep, that totally sounded yuckier than I meant. Or maybe not.

To Jara: done if it aligns right, but cable cars. Subways can be NYC. Cable. Cars. Say it.

To Varyn: You assume too much. Sure, I could go the Porky Pig route and act like I'm brushing away/adding text obstacles to Cyrus' Bugs Bunny role to drive him meta-crazy, but that's the easy way out. All fights are fair.

PBBBBT.

To TengenToppa: not enough wiggle room? PBBBT, son, you jes ain't watched enough Die Hard.

So, if it ends in a draw between yourself and Thras, can Sload/Quimper/Anankhe Mormo/Stephen Dedalus/Huck Fin/etc. pretty please play a part? He's in Cali too, so it'd make perfect sense.

Why are we voting on this? Have all of them fight in the Thunderdome. Anything less is wimping out, Mikey.

Arise, ye lurkers! Too long have you shunned your swords!

At your command, my lord!

Erm...

Wow, all praise to Syronj for the invocation. This will be the most epic thing to grace these boards since the dawn of the Fourth Era.

I yielded to temptation, I voted for Cyrus to fight MK.

Can someone enlighten me as to what THAT story is? The only thing I can find Kru-Bula-Kru in is the Argonian Language Compendium on Temple Zero.

THAT story is the Eye of Argonia, an unpublished sequel to Redguard.

Which I still maintain should be TES' Nintendo debut on the 3DS but that's neither here nor there.

I also want to say that one of the reasons I specifically do not want Pelinal is because he has already been fleshed out fairly well in KotN. Let's have something as-yet-mostly unseen, or at least as-yet-unseen in an installment's lore.

Thraaaas.

Hm, yeah Thras is only peripherally described really. Fleshing it out without needing to put a game there would be nice.

Oh, and I'm glad to see that people still like to see Cyrus kick ass as much as I do. Just mentioning.

Thras. Those bastards need an ass kicking after the plague, and Cyrus is just the person to give it.

My vote goes for Thras because I'd love to see more written about the Coral Kingdom (and Cyrus kicking ass there).

I would have voted for Cyrus vs MK, but since I am stationed in San DIEGO and not San FRANCISCO), I would not be able to witness the carnage (assuming innocent bystanders would be witness to the battle), and that's just a deal-breaker for me as far as my vote is concerned. :flamethrower:

Glad to hear that you'll be writing something new, though, regardless of which vote (or votes) win. Thanks, MK!
