FIGHT! CYRUS! FIGHT!

Post » Mon Nov 01, 2010 6:10 am

4 days is good, but it would be grand if a number of people evenly divisible by 3 could add their votes to Willy, Kru-bula-kru and Tall Papa to give MK the chance to give us a grand tale.

MK is going to write about a fight between Cyrus and whomever wins this poll. Cyrus was the protagonist in Redguard, and fooled Vivec into surrendering by making it seem like he was going to use a sword technique that's pretty much a nuclear explosion in a previous sword meeting. He also killed a dragon and did something to REALLY piss off the Hist. Basically, he's the TES Bruce Willis.

And after giving it some real thought, I'd like to see Cyrus wreck those damned slugs of Thras.

Ah. Cool. Thank you. :)

But darn...I should have voted for Thras. :stare:

You can still vote for Thras, by canceling your oringinal vote (there's a button to do this under the poll). That or you can create a seperate account, which I assume many people have already done.

Well it doesn't look like Pelinal is going to win, so slug murder it is!

Cyrus has an unfair advantage in any fight versus the Sload if only because they won't have the proper time to plan, which is what they do best. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

What poll are you looking at? Its neck and neck, and short necks at that.

Have you, at any point, considered the possibility the situation was different when I posted that? Several hours did pass you know.

Impossible, without potential even.

To all: polls close at Fireworks are Over, PST. Buy yer tickets while ya still can.

To Mr. Kinkade: no one said Cyrus starts any of these fights. Thras could have been planning this for awhile. Perhaps even waiting until he was too old to pick up his saber anymore.

To Lady N: Fear not, young squirrel. I will strive not to make any fight an exercise in wankery and more: that all fights will be worthy of sitting next to all great works of Tamrielic lore on your mindshelves.

PBBBT.

(When in doubt, channel the wisdom of the Many-Headed Doctor Who.)

Finally, to the Ghost in the Net: try not to imagine a url.

Good for the ol' Shezzarine, jumping in front! But I encourage people with votes for the middling candidates (namely Tiber and the Snow whale bull) to strategically place their votes to even out the three losers in order to give MK as much time as possible

Cyrus versus Pelinal. At White-Gold. Hmm. Which mer of import was present in that recorded timeline?

Hmm. (mmm.)

Viagra?

You win.

Well, it's looking like Pelinal at time of posting, but there is more than a full day left. I'm fairly eager to see it either way.

EDIT: I'm hypothetically wondering how a Cyrus-vs.-MK would work in-lore. I mean, he said he could make it work, but it still smells odd to me.

Dang, one hundred and thirty five people have voted in this. I didn't even know the lore forum had one hundred thirty five people

Pelinal is only six ahead of Thras (right now), if we do this right we can get them to tie ;) Pelinal vs. Sload vs. Cyrus would be exciting.

The same way the Loveletter works?

Hello, everyone. While visiting the demons of the Haight last night, I was approached by a black man who I recognized to be none other than Cyrus the Restless (!). What happened next will be of interest to many lore scholars here.

Indeed, it would seem that between 4:45 and 5:45 PM today there were no less than thirteen new members. Correct me if I'm wrong but that seems a tad high, even for gamesas. It may simply be a coincidence, but if not then I am truly disappointed in whoever is doing such a thing. MK has been nice enough to grace us with a new story, out of the kindness of his heart and his own free time, and even gone so far as to let us choose what we would like to hear about. To tamper with the voting in such a way would be a disgrace to that kindness, and MK's good-will.

Then again, maybe it's just a coincidence...

I don't know what he thinks of the dummy votes, but you sound like you could speak for him. I admit, I voted twice and for the same man, too.

I voted twice, but I've had two accounts for years now. I didn't create a new account just to tamper with the outcome.

They voted differently, by the way.
