Fighters Guild is silly

Post » Mon Feb 17, 2014 10:54 pm

So i saw the fighters guild skills today..and im wondering what they are thinking? I do agree there needs to be a player skill tree for hunting supernaturals to even out the vamps and wolves, but Fighters guild didnt do that stuff. They removed rats from basemants and stopped wolves from eating local sheep, a club for warriors in each town.

I think the devs should add a proper guild for this like the Vigiliants of Stendarr or the Dawnguard (They are said to be a Ancient Order, they could very well exist in TESO timeframe.)

Well, the story is the Fighter's Guild's leadership has recently changed, and the new guildmaster has different ideas as to how to run things (prompted by a powerful and mysterious client).

1000 years before Oblivion, the fighters guild might actually have done something needed.

Fighters guild will take any job it isn't limited to only killing things, They run errands and serve as hired muscle. Yes dawnguard and the vigilant of stendarrs are ancient organizations but it isn't revealed how old they truly are, It's said that the dawnguards first appearance is dated somewhere around the first coldharbour 3000 years before the events of ESO, But I honestly think their order may be a lot more recent afterall it's implied that the dawnguard may only be generations old. I'd hope to see the events of the daughters of cold harbour this time around, Aye! Zenimax Aye! :D

A small correction -- the Worship of Stendarr is very old, but warring arm like one sees in Skyrim is about 200 years old -- It came about after the Oblvion Gate Crises.

I'm talking about the order of dawnguard, I'm not interested in the vigilant of stendarrs to me they're casual scrubs and to be honest they didn't capture my attention nor did their lore, I know of stendarr as one of the Aedric gods so that goes without saying his worship would date around the existence of religion.

As you quickly learn when working with the guild, they've been given an all-hands-on-deck contract to deal with the daedric and corresponding undead menace, hence the focus of their abilities. Furthering that (fighting undead and daedric creatures) is also the main way of gaining reputation with them as a result.

I am just saying that Vigilant of Stendarr is about 200 years old, not "3000 years old" Not sure about Dawnguard. They will founded by the Jarl of Riften to guard his / her vampire son -- over time, the Vampire took over the Dawmgraud -- stuff happen and that Order was removed -- it only reborn about during the 4th Era (aka Skyrim time frame)

It's true but could you imagine what they'd have then?

A verminator passive to improve damage against rats. Perhaps a quaffing passive which boosts the effect of alcoholic beverages (awesome!). A Little Bo Peep active ability to track the nearest sheep.
