I play as a fighter, I want to know what's the best way to combat against ash spawn.

They are hard to kill and sometimes swarm..

They do not seem to be vulnerable to anythiing.

How do you do it?

Fire resistance is your friend. Besides that I just hack away at them, quaffing health potions as necessary.
