So if Jills are an archaic term for a female dragon on Earth, or in Tamriel, We'll basically be killing Alduins nation wide Harem of bichy dragon hores (i know its wrong and sorry for the language)?

Perhaps the male dragons will be named Jacks, then we can get to kill both Jacks and Jills

No, I dont think so.
It was one of those really archaic TES books, that never made it into later games.
Probably because it wasnt that well written, or because it maybe contradicted lore.
Its been a long time since I read it in game but I remember something about adventurer(s) questing with a dragon, and being told all sorts of odd things by him.

I don't think.. Jills and Dragons are the same.....

otherwise the Dragons wouldnt be as unknown as they already seem (Daggerfall didnt happen that long ago)

Jills I thought were describe as Orbs with incredible power who mended time and kept things stable after the Dragon break.

I don't know too much lore concerning Aedra and their servants but this sounds more likely. I assumed dragons were always known as 'dragons' in TES.

Oh yeah, I think know that too. I recall that the dragon's name was, curiously enough, Akatosh, wasn't it? I think it was supposed to be some kind of an in-game fictional literature or something.

King Edward? Yes, that book should be considered historical fiction in the context of the game world, but that doesn't necessarilly mean everything in it is false. It's just not necessarilly true, either, unless corroborated by another more reputable source.

Yeah... I think that's the one. But I don't see any mention of the name "Jill" anywhere on that series.

edit: @Huleed: Yup, that's my understanding of it as well.

edit#2:
JIILILILILILILILILIILILIL

Dang, now for some reason I can't get that voice of the crazy Argonian girl from Shivering Isles outta my head!

I'm the only one who quite like the names jill.. It shows the contrast in power to alduin. Reminds me of pawn from chess. I don't relate it to what it is on earth but as a physical short and sharp word . (well not physical since its a word)

Also fluffy kittehs portray a cruel irony :P

You'd've thought other sources would have mentioned the name if it were truly something Todd had said. (or indeed that such a crucial point as 'their name' would have come up more frequently in the many, many bits of expo talk he's been doing for this news dump)

I suspect they're just cribbing from fan speculation, and the name hasn't actually been brought up.
