It's either a mistake or the size of the day 1 patch.

No surprise there, the European Playstation Store have a lot of mistakes all over the place. If you see anything there that seems wrong, it probably is

https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/yakuza-5/cid=EP0177-NPEL00676_00-DISCONLYPARENT00 is another upcoming game the store got wrong; it's digital only, not disc only and the release date is not December 7th 2014 since it hasn't been released yet (the official word is "fall 2015").

Well, these days most developers are working on bug fixes the game after the disks have been printed and dispatched to the stores. They can't exactly recall all those disks to bang a patch on, hence the release day patch.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is the right size. Skyrim's install was only a little over 6 GB and everyone freaked out over that beforehand too. Todd Howard has come out a few times and said that they're just very good at managing space and compressing things. They also only continue to get better with games, so even though they pack more into each game, they have become more efficient at managing their install sizes.

Not a lot of companies care about the install size in the same way, but it definitely is possible. Overall, I'd say it's nothing to worry about if it is true and actually serves as an impressive accomplishment for Bethesda.

Edit: Please ignore this entire post, I totally misread the file size.

You think that 7.8MB, which is 0,0078GB, 769 times smaller than Skyrim, is definitely possible?

Day one patches are also more and more used as a form of DRM. Pirated copies usually never get updated, and sometimes publisher sneak in new features with day one patches. Software pirates are then easily spotted in forums because they are the ones whining that they have missing features.
