Fileplanet Downloading Problem

Post » Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:16 am

I'm having troubles downloading http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?id=3813&view=OblivionMods.Detail from Fileplanet. Yes I have an account and am logged in. :)

I click on the download and it makes me wait 15 minutes - no problems. A little screen pops up and has wait time coding on it. Then ...nothing happens. It's been over an hour that I've been playing with it. I keep hitting the Queue button thinking that will realize my time is up. :) No other page or anything opens for me to be able to download this file.

It's definitely not working like before, but I understand they need non subscribers to wait longer. Am I missing something in getting this file downloaded?

What browser are you using? I had trouble with Google Chrome, but Firefox was able to handle whatever script it is they are using now. Internet Explorer should work as well, I presume.

Edit: Hitting the refresh button works the same as clicking on the button again and standing in the back of the line again. I suggest not doing that. Plus, if the script is working properly, the screen is all formatted and whatnot with instructions/info about how the screen will refresh automatically and such. The text about waiting on top of a blank screen is a BAD sign. Try a different browser.
