This is why I was asking if he was looking for Bethesda's "Blessing"
Nuka Break was able to get their blessing for a Kickstarter, but only after they had made a few on their own dime.

Maybe ask Wayward Studios for some tips?

You should do a Love Triangle Rom Com.
Tabitha, Caesar, Hadrian the Ghoul and Moe the Centaur as the main characters.

a few things

1 Start a you tube channel. unfortunately this means your going to be in a MASSIVE herd of players who already have youtube channels....

2 Make sure the Fallout fans know who you are. Right now you have 2 strikes against you, we just met you and the first thing you did was ask for money.....

3 Make sure you on some level are able to talk with the Fallout fans. Trust me on this Fallout and Bethesda fans can be VERY acidic at best of times when it comes to there precious. and to make things worse, your going to deal with Fallout fans who Absolutly LOATH Bethesda, and TES fans who absolutly LOATH fallout for Killing TES. . .

4 Make sure you have a track record of some kind before starting a Kickstarter. to be blunt the main reason why your first kickstarter will Fail is because if your closest friends and Family cant fund you without a kickstarter, the odds of them funding you Via Kickstarter are less than zero.

5. Do your homework and know what your costs will be before hand! Seriously if your going to do a Kickstarter and have as giveaways (for example) items from the Beth store, First, have them in hand, then find out what the shipping costs will be to the furthest point away from you for US and international shipping.

6 Even then realize that not only do most Kickstarters fail to get funding, more kickstarters fail to even get 20 % of the funding than actually get funded.

usually when someone asks for Backing they usually mean the financial kind of backing. Note also that he then turned around and mentioned starting a Kickstarter.

I am very sorry about that. I mentioned backing from Bethesda because I wanted to let you all know what I talked about in my email to them. Unfortunately, the conversation turned to Kickstarter and I followed it, I am so sorry about that. At this point, I am mostly information gathering. Thanks to what you and some of the others have talked about, I know that I can push it back further than I intended and try to save up first before I try to it. I will probably start working on it early next year.
