What would your (dead) character's final journal entries/words be if they could write/say one?
Mine would be:
For daggerfall:
"What's attacking me?!?" (falls to floor) "Oh..."
[last seen in privateer's hold with rat eating his remains]

"AAAAH! ZOMBIE!"
[died by being 'slapped' by a zombie]

Morrowind:
"What's that?" (5 seconds later) "Stupid flying thing!"
[dies by being eaten by cliffracer]

'Are those bandits?'
[last seen devoid of blood in an ancestrial tomb]

Oblivion:
"censored" (falls from bridge near a tower in oblivion with daedra [probably] laughing nearby)

Most other deaths I have had would probably be met with "OW!".

I am 700 years old, became the eternal champion, went in disguise and became the hero of Daggerfall, went in disguise again and became the nerevarine, wnet in disguise again and became the Champion of Cyrodiil. Darn I am old... Maybe I should quit while I am ahead... *Death (Fire, Frost, Lightning damage, weakness to fire, frost, lightning, drain health, damage health)* Nope, shouldn't have done tha---

Since my characters are vampires, they don't die!

Morrowind: "I guess people don't look kindly on people who kill King Halseth so they can wear his robes..."

That actually happened. I killed His Highness, got Oblivion soon after and retired the character.

"Hey, shopkeeper! Mind if I pick up this sword to get a better look?"

There was the time in "Morrowind" when my Redguard character waited too long to use the Adrenaline Rush. Being already wounded, it made him keel over dead just by activating it.

"Ah, yes. The only true rest, is death"

"I never should have nudged that teaspoon."

Morrowind (actual journal entry)

"I have again run into Gaenor, whose good luck has done wonders for him. He remembers me, though, and doesn't like me."

Daggerfall,
"I wonder what's in THAT dungeon..."

Morrowind,
"Why must my levitation spell wear off now?"

Oblivion,
"Due to the leveling system, when you reached level 1,000,000,000 the game generated a Dragon to fight you. the contradiction to lore killed you."

But the dragon in Redguard was very, very young. it was also very,very stupid

Arena: WTF just happened (since things just pop out of nowhere and sneak up behind you)

Oblivion:phhhh! its just a zombie i can handle......

"Bosmer levitation spell malfunction? Regardless, dead. Found odd scroll on body; seems magical - cannot discern effect. Shall attempt to cast enchantment tomorrow."

Oblivion:
"Was that a ceramic plate? Was that a septim? Or was that the forgotten treasure of Wendelbek!? MUST FIND OU-" said after stepping on a pressure plate and getting hit by a remarkably slow swinging mace trap.

Sheogorath has nice robes.

I hear that. I finally learned to avoid him after dying 10 time in a row while doing this :ahhh:

Morrowind: Oh look, a fork! I guess the shopkeeper and his entourage of guards won't mind if I pick it up to more closely examine it...

Oblivion: This game is awful. Just get me out of here. Now.

Arena: Hey I think I'll explore this dungeon!
*Enters dungeon and is immediately killed*

Daggerfall: Ah, the Privateer's Hold, I wonder if opening every door is as dangerous as I've heard? Oh, hey, a door!
*Opens door and is killed by an imp*

Morrowind: I am invincible! I am the Nerevarine!
*Barely survives a fight*
I'm pretty hurt, I better take a shortcut to town through this water...
*Attacked and killed by various water dwelling beasts*

Oblivion: Must get through this Gate World quickly! The captain is waiting for me!
*Rushes through narrow bridge in Sigil Tower and falls off and bounces all the way to the bottom*

Oblivion: "I have spent my life serving the Nine and Tamriel. This is the hour of my demise, and I embrace it. I shall be at peace and rest among the Nine soon, but one day, I will return to this mortal realm. Take care, my friends, and never forget your honor."

This humble knight now lays in a small grave, just as he had wished. He didn't wish to be put in the undercroft of the small priory, but rather he prefered to lie in a more modest area. Now, over many years, his priory lives on, his identity has been forgotten, and his gravestone's writing is no longer legible. It once read "He is among the stars, guiding humanity in his subtle way. He is as generous and great in death as he was in life."

Oblivion:
"i Resist arrest"

Morrowind:
"I farted in his majesties castle... he wasn't happy"

Daggerfall:
"hey barbarian where is the exit to leave privateers hole?"

My character never dies, but if he did, it would go something like this (if he joined the Arena...):



"Holy crap, a Daedric Adoring Fan!"
