After a long time wondering why I preferred Fallout 3 over New Vegas. I think I finally figured it out. The scavenging and exploring is so much more enjoyable and rewarding in Fallout 3 than it was in New Vegas. In F3 there are a ton of places to explore and the majority of them would take me about an hour to go through because there were many rooms and areas to navigate. In New Vegas most places are a let down and can be explored in just minutes. I can't think of very many places in New Vegas that took a long time to explore and were very rewarding. The rocket facility, Sarsparilla factory, and a couple vaults are all that came to mind. So I guess that's why I like F3 more.

So the same reason as everyone who likes fo3 over fonv
