I remember here a long while ago we were talking about people that wouldn't go after objectives. I don't know how many times I've ask people to help go after an objective and they tell me they didn't won't to go after objedtives they just wanted to kill people or I just want to snipe. So I wrote a post about my dream game. I wanted a game that didn't reward lonewolves or people that just wanted K/Ds that it reward team play and every design of the game was about rewarding team players and lonewolves or KD hunters get little or NO reward. That I wanted to play a game like that and I believe alot of people would too. I knew somebody would eventually. Well here it is! I've read everything about Brink and watch all the videos. I'm a decent shooter, but I like playing medic. I love keeping my guys well so they can complete their missions and here's a game that's a medic's dream come true. I can boost my guys health and guard him while he's taking over a post or arming or disarming a bomb or just making my team's health the top priority during a 5hit storm fire fight, adding extra pips to their bar keeping them well so we can get those big team Xp multiplyers. I've seen all the videos and this game runs like they say it does on paper, but less all remember one thing when this hits the store and that ALL games have problems on release and less let these guys do there job and get things fixed. They have done a great job and took a big chance on delivering something new and different and making a game that they would want to play and not making something that will be easy for the kiddies and going for just big bucks. Although I believe when this game hits the store and the word gets out how great it is, they are going to be making the big bucks. Brink is something that really is a big challenge and requires thought, plaining and the SKILL of being a team player. So here's a toast with my Makers Mark and cola and to the teams! :foodndrink: I'll be playing this game for a long time!!

This game is well-needed in the shooter genre, for many reasons.

Agreed on all accounts. I can hardly enjoy any of my games right now because I am anticipating Brink so much and hating all the things that are wrong with my current selection.

The game got pushed forward to May 10th. Unless you're in another part of the world I guess. I just know it is now May 10th for the US and I believe all of North America.

It depends. If you're in the UK, it will be May 13th.

On the other hand, I'm not sure if SD and Bethesda have announced anything about Japan's release date. The last I've heard, it was May 25th, and I'm not sure if they moved that up to the 18th.

I don't know what maps you're looking at, but mine don't show the UK as part of North America...

You're right, but so's he. 17th was the announced NA release date, so assuming the post was from someone there is logical. And he DID specify that 10th was for NA, not everywhere.

i agree this is the kind of game ive ben waiting for, my friends say just hold out till BF3 and i tell them i get sick of seeing the same crap.but if this game can pull it off and WOM gets out it will be epic sickness.

I too am excited for this as i have been wanting something good from the gaming industry for many years. now it seems they have come through with a doozy.
