I finally pre-ordered Fallout 4!

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 3:18 pm

I gave in after seeing the launch trailer and pre-ordered :D

I was a little less hyped for who knows why but with the 10th coming closer and closer, I caved and pre-ordered on Amazon.

Out of curiosity, where else did you pre-order?

I imagine the most common outlet will be Steam, which isn't on the survey.

Got my Pip-boy edition at Gamestop. But I also ordered a regular version (was originally going to give it to a friend for his birthday but he sorta became a rabid anti-gamer after he started dating this woman) from Green Man Gaming for $45, so I switched my delivery for my pip-boy for the cheapest I could get.

I really only wanted the Pip-boy anyways.

I did the same, it kills me knowing the game is in my living room but I can't play it.

I haven't pre ordered. Most likely I'll be waiting until after the Creation Kit is released before buying the game. When I do buy it, it'll probably be via Steam, since buying a physical copy for pc also means needing to download (presumably) most of the game anyway. Not much incentive for buying physical copies anymore, now is there?

Well, I had pre-ordered from my local Gamestop. But I went in and canceled today, then pre-ordered on Steam.

Because if I'm going to have to download a large portion of it anyway (blowing a good chunk of my available playtime on Tuesday), I'd much rather do the downloading as a pre-load.

svcks that I won't have a pretty box to put on my shelf with all the other ones. :(

I did something similar to Kiralyn2000. I preorder at Gamestop but cancelled and got it off PSN.

If I bought the game from the store I would have sent the box to you. Maybe when I do buy the PC version of the game but I do not know when that will be.

Pipboy edition the day it was avalible here in Australia. I went into town to pre order it, however the store wasnt advertising so I thought I would try later on. Lucky I decided to order online that night as all copies were sold out a few hours later. Paid it all off a few days ago, and thats the story of my pre-order. The whole time I have been worried that some worker at EB will see the copies come into that store and sell them to his mates, but I am doubting this will happen, I worry too much about these things and sometimes expect the worse. Myself and two other friends will be going to pick our pipboys up at the midnight launch, cant wait :D

I pre-ordered the edition here that has the lunchbox and the bobblehead. I do enjoy my collectibles.

Don't care about the pip-boy, I have a hand made replica that is absolutely stunning.

same. Love how the game is more shooter-y and wanted to play on PC but I'd have had to upgrade my PC. Was going to get from Amazon, but then found out about buying digitally from Microsoft and the "preload", cancelled my Amazon order and bought on XBL. I did this early so I got the stub file (had my suspicions... it being a 28gb game and installing in less than 5 mins, so that's fixed [read about the fix on a sticky if you bought on XBL before 10/27]

I didn't think about it that way. Hmmm, talk about balls that are between green and purple and one of the primary colors!

I pre-ordered from steam, here in the netherlands very few brick and mortar retailers still excist in my little town (netherlands), and even fewer are reliable at getting a copy on the actual day of release. Tried bol.com when GTA V came out and eventualy cancelled last minute cause there pre-orders where late due to over selling their stock. Atleast thisway i know i can play on thuesday, instead of the next week after that.

I didn't preorder. I'm on the road that entire week anyway. Plus, I'm being sceptical about bugs and stuff. Better wait for 1-2 patches. Proper playtime won't be until christmas anyway.
