Finally the trailer

0:51.
The model of the L.A.E.R. is a bit too good for not being included in the first place. I think they might just save it for the old world blues.

I think MCA confused dark humor with goofy cartoon humor again.

This was worth waiting for. In one word EPIC! really THE best trailer i have seen so far. It reminded me of an old time horrormovie. The makers really did their best on this!

This might look edgy ten years ago, but now... we have to move forward.

If OWB allows us to wear the Ghost People outfits then I can sort of see why they didn't let us do that in DM since none of the suits were supposed to be easily removed once exposed to the Cloud anyway. And a quick list of interesting things I spotted in the trailert:

00:26 - Muggy the mini securitron is moving around, which dispproves my original thought that he would simply be a stationary 'toy statue' thing for us to interact with (perhaps a novelty coffee dispenser)
00:33 - Is that supposed to be blood dripping in the background there? If so it looks quite fake...
00:51 - A pulse rifle of some kind
00:53 - An army of cyberdogs being 'trained'
01:05 - The aforementioned Ghost People helmet (or at least a very similar model)
01:11 - A glowing power fist
01:13 - Look carefully at the background, something is firing hologram lasers at the player. It looks like that think tank with only 2 functioning screens, indicating that think-tanks will be armed with the same type of weapon as Sierra Madre holograms.
01:14 - a cyberdog fires what look like the sort of pulse weapon used by robobrains. The player is also armed with some sort of blue glove, which turns red in the following shot (probably a common version and an unique version). The red one seems to have the ability to set the target on fire ala shishkebab.

yyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

I love science made to make life better go horribly wrong......uh....er!!

The skeleton in the space suit reminds me of some other spacesuit muties in the game...a homage to "Mars Attacks" possibly.

But why though?
Over the top stuff fits in over the top games like Borderlands or Saints Row or Postal, not in Fallout when it's pushed too far, which OWB seems to do.
Doesn't mean a DLC can't be good just cause it isn't too 'wacky', I mean, Dead Money was good right? And while I personally don't like Honest Hearts it was very well received right? neither of which had too goofy stuff.

Because not every DLC has to be in perfect harmony with the game or lore or whatever you think it should be. I like the idea of having the Devs using their creative talents to create a unique experience. There are four DLCs, so I just don't see a problem with one of them being different and a little wacky. It sure looks to me that they are trying to pull off four distinct experiences with the DLCs. Whether they succeed or not is debatable, but not important here. To me, the bottom line is this DLC looks really fun. It looks to have unique guns and enemies.

The "glowing power fist", as mentioned above, reminds me of the cut Legion creatures

Simply doesn't feel very Fallout to me.
No idea whether I'll enjoy it or not, though I'll likely facepalm at what lore will be canonized from it.

Well this is what Fallout is, this isnt the Book of Eli video game...

If you think Fallout is all about being gritty and serious, your horribly mistaken.

Enchanted Skeleton Undead? Did an Oblivion gate open up in TES's universe leading into Fallout's universe?

What the...?! Undead spaceman?

So, Doctor Mobius is evil scientist after all. Also, I notice the ghost people's helmet(without suit) from Dead Money.

Fallout 1 was definitely gritty and serious most of the time, most of its humor was dark with only a few brief moments of actual comedy relief scattered throughout the game. It's Fallout 2 where the developers decided to go all lulzy.
