Finding an Ebony Bow : V

Hi. I am level 59 and looking for an unenchanted ebony bow, is there anyone here who can give me a good location for finding one? I need one for use with the atronach forge. No, I cannot forge one, and no, I am not a PC user, so I can't just console command my way through space and time, sorry.

At 59, you should be able to find one at a shop. they start showing up for sale in the late 30s or so.

I'm not aware of any repeatable / consistent Ebony Bow spawn locations [I have picked up many though]. You're going to have to farm for one or make one - pick your poison.

Hopefully someone else chimes in with some better advice.

At your level you should be able to buy one at a smithy or Fletchers if you shop around a bit.

Or you can get one from the Deathlord at Lost Valkygg just east of Labyrinthian.

I'm level 37 and have found three from Draugr Deathlords; bosses of various nord tombs.

How about Daedric Bow? Where can one find one of those?

Master archer with a flawless deadric bow does about 92 damage If I remember correctly. Add a grand soul enchantment and you can one shot giants with a poisoned deadric arrow if you are stealthed. I think its time to start another character.

The Draugr at your level should randomly drop them, Deathlords I think? They occasionally use ebony bows and arrows, that is how I came across my first ebony bow.

I was pleasently surprised I looted an Ebony Sword at level 15 from a Deathlord Boss. Justing saving now to get it upgraded and enchanted properly.

I find Ebony Bows more often than any other Ebony object, it shouldn't be too difficult near level 30 or so.

You can get one at level one, if you're tricksy enough to kite and kill a deathlord at that level. He even dropped an ebony battleaxe as well when I did it.

This is exactly how I got some sweet ebony items (weapons and shield) without the need for smithing

After being able to craft my own deadric weapons, I found a deadric bow in a random chest.

So that link that you posted about the location Lost Valkygg, can you post a short description on how to go there and where inside it is. Such as is the bow on an enemy or in a chest. Thanks and I just created a new thief/assassin and this is the first thread I found, JACKPOT!

Don't forget that at 90+ points in armorer you can make your own.

Drauger Deathlord drop them occasionally. Fletcher archery store in Solitude also has them occasionally and so does the smiths.
At 59 it shouldn't take too long to find one.
