Hello, I am new to this board and Fallout 3.

I am having trouble getting to the museum of technology. I am going around in circles. How do I get there?

You can get to the mall area through the Metro station that starts just by Rivet City. Or you can set a marker for something in the mall area and then follow the prompts on your map.

When you exit GNR from the back door, enter the metro system in front of you, and follow the Metro maps you see there to reach the Museum station. There, find a way back to ground level and you should be outside Museum of History, or another Mall metro entrance. Regardless, you are now in the Mall and now just follow the quest marker to find Museum of Technology.

It was my first post. I didn't even realize I did it. I only posted one item, how did it get in two places? Maybe the input page could be a little clearer.

Indeed you do. This forum (General) is for stuff like "which thing do you like and why?" questions. Cheats, Hints & Spoilers is for "how do I solve this quest?" questions. Your particular question would fall under the hint aspect of Cheats, Hints & Spoilers.
