Hmm yes, I think it is. Once it gains the capacity to feel and perceive itself as human, it is no longer just a machine. You would not have the moral right, then, to return it to its creator against its will.

Way to go with the movie reference Tiberius. (big smile that and the seven samurai have to be the best movies ever made -sigh- rest in piece Toshiro Mifune)

Anyway uhh to the point you know first time through I did help him against zimmer. But other playthroughs I Kill him for rp purposes, or keep a real close eye on him heheh. (Blame Terminator movies )
Its just that even playing as a good character I reckon hes just to damn dangerous in the long run to let live. If any of these free spirited droids got it in there head to make more like himself bing theres a new dominate speices and well humans being as they are in a manner of time would be wiped out just for princable if nothing else ( i mean really heh in fallout we created the whole damn mess the worlds in) Sure it might be wrong, but do the same people decrying them as having feelings ponder killing a deathclaw (err maybe they do heh) or raiders. This may not seem super valid as they tend to be red, but harkin will murder or kill to protect his individuality the next freethinking droid might do it for fun so really in my thinking Harkin and all the smart droids pose the same threat, they are truelly a mistake of the past that needs corrected. Because there would be no way to win a war against them as well one the look like us and would infiltrate and too attrition we need at least 12 years heh to replace a man and thats with little training, they just build and program and are ready to rock providing they have the resorces and looking like us would try to get in positions to get it.

That said I do hate condeming a species hehe hence the Keep a close eye on him Rp bit. But if he ever started acting buggy or started collecting circuts and scrap metal you can bet I would put one in his brain pan

First time I helped Harkness...after that I did the get both method as I learned it was possible on the forums. The idea of handing him over to Zimmer never really occurred to me, though I must admit there is a valid concern with androids.
