Finish developing your game before releasing it.

I was very wrong to have expected more from one of the most respected game developers on the planet. This game is nowhere near the polished product it could/should have been - what happened? Did you spend all the budgeted money on Fallout Shelter? Because that looks pretty damn polished [and VERY well advertised/plugged]

Did you get even one report from all your FO4 beta testers? Or were they all too enthralled at actually playing a Fallout game before the rest of the planet that they forgot to send them? Are you using focus groups filled with morons or what? I have seen more bugs in this initial release than in the last three released bethesda games COMBINED.

The first 3 hours of this game have screamed nothing but "PORTED FROM CONSOLE" to me. The dialogue system is terrible- only one or two word responses, console-centric "dialogue wheel" with only 4 choices? This is absolutely made for the lowest common denominator of society.

You sacrificed all that was great in FO3 and NV [specifically the NPC depth, dialogue choices, being good or evil - PLAYERS CHOICE - all that is gone] to make a game designed for low IQ plebs to thoroughly enjoy. Where's the RPG that Fallout is supposed to be synonymous with? GONE, that's where.

This game has all the hallmarks of an Arcade Shoot-em-up like DOOM, with just a few basic RPG elements thrown in amongst the pitiful amount and quality of voice acted NPCs.

It certainly feels to me like you have spent only the last few months porting this game to PC and then only half finished it! Expecting mod makers to do the rest of your work for you.

I already got a refund and will never again pay up-front for one of your games.

I've literally spent more time searching the internet for how to fix bugs, than actually playing the game.

You corporate shill [censored] are the core problem here, jumping on anyone who dares to speak out against the almighty GODS BETHESDA.

If anyones opinion differs from that of the official tote: "Dis gamez B ORSOM!!!!!11!" - they are immediately cast out in Mad Max gulag style execution.

I'm guessing you haven't played many bethesda games. I think this one has the least amount of bugs that I've noticed so far, but it does have them.

Assuming to know things about people you have never met is completely illogical. I'd expect that sort of behaviour would be propagandized on mainstream media.

Yep. it's inevitable. And so far I have only found one major bug.

You want to play games like this, learn to live with the launch bugs and be patient.

It is how it is.

Just report the bugs and wait for the patches to fix them.

Yikes...

Like... I was honesty a little disappointed at the lack of depth in the dialogue options... at first... but this game... is just amazing. The scope is incredible and it just looks so. damn. good. The combat is A+, the settlement system is really interesting and fun to play around with. Sure it has its drawbacks, but this is still an amazing RPG. And, yes, it's still an RPG.

This is all in my opinion at least. Obviously not everyone is going to love it. But seriously... chill. The... like... one thing you complained about was A.) not the core of the game, therefore not taking away from anything and B.) pretty much expected as soon as a voiced protag was introduced, at least in some capacity. You honesty could have just saved yourself some cash and the time it took you to write out this rant and not purchased the game in the first place.

Already refunded from Schteam, Currently I have no earthly desire to play this poorly made game again. The base construction and settler management just made me think of how much I hated going to work every damn day. This games side-quests are just chores, the loot is average, there's no brightness control [wtf?!], the auto-snap-to-grid base building "feature" nearly had me throwing my computer through the window.

I will keep an eye on the Nexus for any mods that may make the game less 'carp', but I fear the simplistic damage is done.

Fallout is now a dumbed-down plebs wet dream. Congrats Bethesda, you just tapped into the biggest money-making market on the planet! [besides religion]

If you worded your post a bit differently you'd probably get a very different response.

Re-worded my post. I might buy the game again later on, for a discounted price, if the mods are any good.

I don't see this conversation going anywhere but leading to more hostility and trading insults. The OP had their chance to vent, the thread served it's purpose and can now be closed before members start violating rules and getting warnings.
