I'm way past the quest that involves you having to get the Lexicon and doing the puzzle for the Elder Scroll... and getting the special book far in the North, in the giant lockbox. But I don't know what to do with the Lexicon now.. It won't leave my inventory and I have no quests (of my knowledge) that involve it. I've also already had a quest involving a different Lexicon (Red one) and putting it back for some crazy lady. But what do I do with this Gold Lexicon? (Aka. Ruined Lexicon) Help please!

give it back to Signus.

You give the lexicon back to Septimus.

You can take it back from him though afterward, but it would then be stuck forever in your inventory as it would still be labeled as a quest item.

That is exactly what I did.. damn.

Thats what I did too. Glad it has 0 weight though, it also looks cool.

Is there really no way around this terrible event? No way to dropped it at all?! D:
