Hello,
I've finally finished planning the mods I'm going to use for my first Skyrim playthrough (I could never do a vanilla one). I'm aiming for increased difficulty and immersion, as well as improved visuals. I'd greatly appreciate it if any of you could look over my setup and let me know if you can spot anything that seems outdated or incompatible, or if there's anything absolutely essential that I've missed. I don't use companions, I don't care about romances, and I don't treat my own character like a barbie doll (it's an action figure! ), so those kind of mods are uninteresting. I should also mention that I prefer gritty realism over high fantasy, and that I try to avoid too much clutter in terms of new items/equipment.
First the essentials:
- I've followed the instruction in the http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.6, with the exception of most of steps 2.D - 2.M (that would have been massive nitpicky mod overload to me).
- I'm using ENBSeries along with http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23765//?.
- I'm using all the modules of http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9286/?.
- I'm using https://sites.google.com/site/skyrimsurvivorseries/frostfall along with http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27563//? (I considered using Realistic Needs & Diseases as well, but concluded that there would be too much micro management).
In any case, here's the full list:
