burn what to a disc ?? the mem stick update worked just it didnt really do anything other than make menues brighter easier to read and less cool to look at and make the battery power icon thing smaller

Maybe you've just gotten a dashboard update, and not the update which goes specifically towards allowing GOTY Morrowind play, or the dashboard update didn't include the update for playing original xbox games.

No idea, sorry :\ It's not even sure that's it, but that's the only thing I can guess on.

I dont think xbox supports morrwind anymore use to work when I first got my xbox 360 then after they cut for the original xbox live it stopped working, also there was a up date afterwards...it svcked

until I got it for the computer, then I stopped caring, now the only thing I need to figure out is why the hell the game lags so much !!!

Yeah what Vaultboyt3 said. You need to be connected to xbox live before it does the update and makes it playable. That is how I did it and I still play it fine.

First: You must be connected to Xbox Live. Do any of your friends/relatives have Xbox Live?

Second: If so plonk your Hard Drive into their connected system and run the game. This will prompt the update for backward compatibility.

Third: Download it.

Fourth: Skip home, slam that HD back into your machine, pop the game in and play.

Techincally this should work. If it doesn't... Merry Christmas.
