Does anyone know the actual damage that the Fire / Frost Breath shouts actually do? And also, if they are boosted in damage by the Augmented Flames / Frost perks from the Destruction tree?

I feel even with all 3 levels of the shout, along with the respective (possible spolier) main story related boost, the damage is pretty underwhelming. I've not been able to find any concrete numbers for the shouts, so help would be very welcome, thanks!

I hope you get those numbers soon. All three words of Frost Breath seemed pretty good to me (as it also seems to do DOT!), but Fire Breath, even with that 25% boost, was very meh.

On a side note, I've only ever managed to have all three words of Frost Breath on my mage characters (who had augmented frost), and I have only once had all three words of Fire Breath (that stuff is hard to find without the magic of the internetz), and that was on a character without any respectable Destruction skill.

Fire Breath article doesn't have the damage numbers. No clue as to them being boosted by the augment perks.

Thanks, that explains a lot... so with all three levels, Frost Breath is just marginally stronger than Frostbite!

At its base damage. We don't know much more than that. Remember, as I've said, my mage character had no trouble dealing heavy damage to enemies with the third level of Frost Breath.

Maybe the CK will give us more insight.
