I downloaded the pre-release yesterday. It's ok, but 2 of my plug-ins stopped working again. (And tweaking the compatibility check option in about:config did not help.) Not that they were important. The important ones worked straight away. (A first. They always used to break with new versions.)
From what I've read, Mozilla is planning on seriously speeding up their version releases. If they have any hopes of successfully doing that, it means they need to minimize add-on breaking updates. FF 4 is probably a test to see how well they can do that.
I want it but gah... bloody Linux. What is a bz2 anyway?
Seriously? You don't know what bz2 is and you use Linux? Next you'll tell me you don't know what tar and gz are
Looks good
I love my Chrome but I like to know what I'm saying when I tell people that Chrome is superior to all, so I'll be testing Firefox 4 for the next couple of weeks ^_^
I still hate how Firefox handles tabs
Except when it comes to user data security. No way to password-protect the password manager or selectively delete browsing data on browser close? WTF!
Read: There is no such thing as a unanimously superior browser. Every browser has flaws that are the strength of some other browser.
