My First Complaint : V - Skyrim

I am VERY excited about the new Elderscrolls Skyrim but....!
That voice for the intro movie is terrible.
He sounds like he's at least 80, a bit drunk and his false teeth are loose.
Also some of his slurred words are hard to understand.

I hope this guy's voice won't be used in the game.
I also hope they haven't wasted money on celebrity voices like they did with Oblivion. :sad:

His voice is awesome.

Really? I though it was excellent, that was Max Von Sydow by the way. He is voicing Esbern, a old Blade, and your mentor, so you will be seeing (or hearing:P) alot of him

The voice work for the elder Blade was amazing, he did a great job, an old wise mentor makes sense in any fantasy story, what is the problem if he is old. :mellow:

The funny part is that the character he plays is supposed to be old and decrepit, and I thought he didn't sound like that at all.

Amazing! I never thought this post would get as much attention as it has.

As a matter for the record I am 70 years old and feel uncomfortable recognizing the sound of false teeth in an fantasy role playing game.

I prefer unknown voices that don't remind me of some Hollywood idol.
However this is just MY opinion and no one needs to get so worked up over it. At least it's not an American accent!
