From all the stories that I have read and started to despair over. I just had my first encounter with them when my dweller popl. went to 70. I am happy to to say I did NOT lose a single dweller. My sandwichshop girls and guys all have shotties or better. My vaultdoor guards have the flamer. They did not get past my 2 level. Had they I would have brought up reinforcements. They can be defeated with weaker weapons and my vault just proved that it can be done.

BTW, I only have two dwellers that have power armor. The rest dont.

Yes, they can be beaten. It is not too hard if you are prepared. FYI, power armor inside vault is almost useless. Send some of your dwellers outside wearing them instead.

interesting. i was terrified after watching the footage on youtube and made an army (2 power armor + flamer guards, 4 horror film outfit + enhanced shotgun group, 5 mayor outfit + railway gents). due to a lack of equipment (focused on training. did not explored that much) it seems risky but am trying to prepare myself.
