I don't see how they're going to get DLC to work with the sloppy PS3 port. Who's going to support this turd anymore anyway? The base games performance is a piece of [censored]. Sickens me.

NOT XBox only... XBox gets it first for 30 days before PS3 and PC. It is not really that big of a deal at all.

Old news , and not really surprising anyway since MS tends to get the 30 day exclusive deal on most games DLC ( CoD , Fallout 3 , Fallout : NV ) .

I wont touch this DLC. Even if it was given for free. It worries me even to think about the performance issues this will bring to an already broken game.

Yea I know it just with all the problems that's plagued the PS3 you would think they would equally give both consoles the DLC. I know thats to much to hope for.

If there was a contract signed between Microsoft and Bethesda (which mostly likely happened), then they can't release DLC for other platforms. Simple as that.
We should ask for the game to be fixed and in working condition first before we request DLC for a broken game.

Who cares about the DLC. Fix the frigging game first. Unbelievable greed Bethesda, shame.

even in the xbox version there are several glitches and bugs in this game, some near gamebreaking. i gave up on the PS3 version and started the xbox a few days...and i'm still encountering several silly bugs that shouldn't be there, along with 2 broken quests and one freeze.

Skyrim is not NEARLY polished enough for them to be releasing DLC. fix the freaking game first. this is just a really sickening attitude from bethesda.

As other posters have mentioned it's just 30 days exclusivity this time round and that only applies to DLC 1 and 2.

Also worth noting that unlike Fallout and New Vegas Bethesda did have the decency to announce this prior to release this time so that we all knew what we were getting in to if we bought the game on or near release.

I have to question the wisdom of DLC arriving so soon too. All three platforms are reporting issues with long term play that is preventing them from sampling everything that Skyrim has to offer, I can't speak for everyone but unless I really really want it I don't buy DLC for games that I haven't finished, let alone games that the developer hasn't finished.

Same thing happened with Fallout DLC - and I kinda wish the Fallout DLC never happened.

So pretty OK with this.

Again: until they have this game working flawlessly on every single platform, they shouldn't even consider releasing DLC, much less on a console-favoring basis.

"How would you guys like to blow $5-15 each on a bunch of extra stuff for a $65+ game that is, for all intents and purposes, pretty much broken/incomplete? :D"

Mind you, that's just my personal opinion. The goal for a number of companies is to maximize profit first and foremost, so I have absolutely no delusions that Bethesda will fix every problem (or, heck, even just the major ones) before they throw out paid content. I do know that I won't be spending another dime on this game until they've ironed out the numerous problems that should have been caught and resolved before this thing ever hit public release, though.

Im not remotely bothered DLC is coming to Xbox first. I've no intention of buying the DLC for PS3 anyway considering its unplayable in its current vanilla format....besides i've already taken the game back for a refund, so I can't even if I wanted.
Once its fixed and everyone here is happy, i'll grab it again.

Are you really surprised by this?

I'm not, lets be honest the PS3 port is simple an afterthought, they only advertise the Xbox version on TV.

PS3 always, Always gets the Sh***y end of the stick when it comes to gamesas games, thanks to a nice backhander from M$.

I love the game but won't be wasting any cash on DLC while my main game is incomplete. In future I'll stick to PC for Beth games, at least the community can usually fix what Beth doesn't bother to do.

Bethesda for years has relied on the community fixing their pi$$ poor quality.

Not a bad deal really. Let Xbox playtest it for us before they release it to us so we can see if it even works right. Good job MS. Way to take the burden of testing it out and paying to get it early.

They expect me to buy a DLC on a game that I've had freeze, non-responsive to controller inputs, quest locks (main quest at that) and lags?

On yer bike!

No way am I buying anything from Bethesda >.> pre-owned games all the way!

What's the point of getting DLC when the PS3 version is extremely unplayable right now? I would be happy to get them but not until Bethesda put a lot of dedicated hard work to fix all the problems for the PS3.

PS3 has to wait 30 days, as it helps with the lag. You can either go to bed or stand still and wait for 30 days, preferably in your house as it's cold outside.
Of course you will die after 30 days without water but after that you wont know what DLC you are missing.

Maybe the 360 also got a deal to be the only console that gets skyrim for the first 90 days and we just didn't see the announcement? [/joke]
