My First Fallout game - more bugs than Radroaches

Post » Wed Dec 16, 2015 7:55 am

I play a few games. And at the age of sixty I have seen early games through to games like
Fallout 4. Not played any of the previous versions.

I do love the storyline and gameplay - it suits me perfectly. But damn this thing is riddled with more bugs than there are Radroaches in the game.

I have been to Diamond City early on in the game, but since the update I can't get near it without crashing.

saving is like other have said - appealing. When you create a game than players are going to spend many hours building and advancing, the one thing that should be 99% perfect is saving and being able to restore games. I've heard suggestions that after every update you should start from the beginning - what? Downright ridiculous.

For me my pipboy keeps disappearing - I have to save, exit and reload game to get it back. Companions keep going awol. The only way to get them back is select another one, send the lost one somewhere, go there and get them back....

Bug ridden is being kind!

I feel for you, Fallout 4 is the first game from these guys that's had major issues like this. I put in ridiculous amounts of time into Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim and never once had to start over or make a new character. Those games were incredible and this game would have been too, if it wasn't so absolutely broken. "Bug Ridden" is the understatement of the year for this game. If you have a chance to play their older titles, I'd recommend it, they're great games(They actually work and save correctly).
