As others have said, my first character is usually a pretty cool guy (doesnt afraid of anything). Homicidal maniacs come later.

Anyway, my first character is never a murderer. I try to avoid killing wherever possible.

I probably won't kill the very first person I meet since there'll be a tutorial.
After that though the first order of business will definitely be finding an innocent NPC and murdering him/her. Gotta let the Dark Brotherhood know I'm in town

If skyrim starts a bit like the past two elderscrolls games, the first NPCs would be seen in sequences that would not permit us to kill anybody, and most assuredly the first NPC.

I don't intend for my first character to be a homicidal maniac. I will almost definitely create one eventually though, perhaps a vampire.
