Gunslinger. Need to make sure I can gun down anything I come across fast before I worry about gun customization.
Science! for the terminal hacking or something in Charisma for the speech benefits.
Robotics Expert, to see if I can fix up Codsworth.
i also think probably a utility perk - sneak / lock pick / hack
1st: Fortune Finder?
2nd:? Lockpick
3rd: Scrounger
4th: Pickpocket
5th: Gun Nut
6th: Science!
7th: Armorer
but really d????epends,
Wasteland Whisperer. Ain't no Yao Guai sneakin' up on me, yo.
No, but seriously, I like animals. Even if they are irradiated and vicious. I prefer to gun down raiders and not mole rats.
Armorer: one can never be to well protected
I personally have not reviewed what the perks. I dont want to spoil anything for myself. I want to go in playing not knowing anything other than what was revealed at e3
FIRST PERK!
Maxwell House Gourmet Roast Ground Coffee
?
WHat!??! Its what I got. Normally its Tea and True Lemon and honey. Yet gonna need to be up for a week straight when the game comes out.
REGENERATING. STAT BOOSTS. IMPROVED MOVEMENT SPEED. RESISTANCES to DAMAGE POISON ETC. ADDITIONAL SKILL POINTS.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Thats the list of what will be first if at all.
Maybe if it plays like an elder scrolls take no skills until I get enough experience to go from level 1 to 80 in one shot.
This.
I'll need to see the description, but perks that allow something, beat perks that improve something.
Sneak is probably a good one to take early on, when you're particularly soft and squishy.
Solar Powered. And then Toughness, Life Giver, Adamantium Skeleton, Rad Resistance, Lead Belly, and Medic; not necessarily in that order.
But my first perk will definitely be Solar Powered.
(I gotta say, this is probably my favorite part of the new leveling system. We all had maybe one or two perks that were worth taking when we hit level 2 in Fallout 3, and I never found anything worthwhile for level 3. Seems like it'll be a long time before I stop caring about what perks I get with this one.)
Depends, of course... but in the running are Black Widow (if I find myself talking to people early) or Lockpick (if there are locked containers early) or the hacking perk (if there are computers to hack). Pretty much depends on what "obstacle" I first encounter. I see no need to get combat-related perks like Sniper or Gunslinger or Iron Fist or whatever as the early game is likely to be more forgiving anyway.... likewise, little point in getting (m)any of Endurance's live-longer perks since, again, pretty easy to start. Access is where it's at, early game.
Me too.. .. followed closely by sneak and hacker.
