I'm hoping for something bigger. Like, building-size. A building-size rat!

I hope we get some kind of rat related quest again, maybe with a rat from Morrowind named Thelas.

MORROWIND -- Drarayne Thelas loves pillows and she hates it when rats get in her pillows. Kill the rats.

OBLIVION -- Arvena Thelas loves pillows and Mountain Lions are eating her rats. Kill the Lions.

[HINT] -- They are sisters, I know Arvena mentions Drarayne. Does Drarayne mention Arvena? Probably not.

SKYRIM -- "X" Thelas loves mountain lions and "Y" is killing her mountain lions. Kill "Y".

i will actuallly be disappointed if they dont do rats. its a staple of every rpg in the universe that you have to fight and potentially get killed by something that is 1/100 your size. i did like the twist they put in oblivions rat quest so it would be nice if they did a similar twist in the next games rat quest.

Rats have gotten into my favorite pillows! This cannot be endured. Enter their lair, endure their torment, and search through their dung for the pillow feathers so that I may repair them. Then strike up a negotiation with the head rat (whom, unfortunately, you cannot understand and must pick responses at random from his squeaky gibberish) and try to get the rats to relocate, or for a lesser reward, accept this offering of a mountain goat.

Err... the page behind your link rather clearly indicates that rats were the first Fighter's Guild quest in Daggerfall. Rather, one of four: they were random, not sequential.

Anyway. I voted for rats, of course; but if they really want to change it up, the first Fighter's Guild quest could be to stuff a bunch of pillows in a barrel.

HOW DID SHE GET THEM IN THERE?!

The Fighter's Guild is an Imperial institution. I'm going to say its not going to be in. All "Guild" institutions are going to go. Just to make sure this point goes across-- after an empire collapses any guild relationships across borders instantly become impossible to maintain. A point is-- How do Skyrim and Morrowind guildmates interact since their countries at war? or Morrowind and Black Marsh? You may see remnants of the Guilds, going under different names, but i wouldnt be surprised if they added a bunch of different orginizations all vying for political dominance in post collapse Skyrim.

It's better than the Suicide Guild. First mission is killing yourself.
