That clip definitely seems a step up from previous Bethesda games, in terms of voice acting and animation, has an almost cinematic feel. But i wonder what watching it in 1st person would be like?

I don't think we're going to have that option unfortunately.
I'm pretty sure Go, I mean Todd Howard said we could do conversations in first person if we wanted.
I think the summarized response choice is a better one personally. It doesn't break up a conversation as much as me sitting there reading each and every response. They're clearly doing this because once we choose a reponse/position the PC will voice act what will be said. It would be redundant to read each response and then have him say it as well. I can see/understand why they went this route, being that they really wanted a voiced protag
Well that's going to be interesting then since the camera angle and her expressions tend to work from an side shot. Looking straight at her ... that will be interesting. Skyrim NPC's just don't have all that animation when they are talking. In fact if they move at all it's some random animation that they just happen to do while talking. Her animations look like they were custom for that specific dialog ... so, yeah this will be interesting.
I will be using First Person and scoping her up and down the whole time. At E3 Todd said we could also walk around during the conversation, so I may walk around her and check her out too. I'm a bit of a perv in game.
Doth mine eyes deceive me?
Her vaguely fluffy and animated hair isn't clipping through her small, tight-fitting hat!
Yeah, except for the plastic looking jacket. Pretty obvious the buttons and belt are all just one piece. They didn't even change their color.
Does cut through her collar though. But not bad enough to be an issue or anything. Acceptable I guess.
The process of determining if a NPC is good enough to be your waifu.
You gotta wai-fu to find your waifu.
There is quite an inappropriate LonelyIsland song that I would use to retort, but that would be naughty , so I'll settle for, "Yes it would have made her far more attractive because of the uniqueness to her way of speech".
Here's to hoping their actual characters are as fleshed out and excellent as their animation and voice acting.
Overall though, I have to say I really like the contextual animations. It's going to add a lot to the dialogue.
I thought I was the only one... where did we hear this?
I'd prefer they have the animations optimized for third-person than not having any animations at all. The mere existence of body language will be a huge boost to the conversations compared to previous BGS games. I'm not picking on you, I agree it'll be interesting to see how it's implemented.
Wai-fus-broh-duh?
I also kind of assumed she was a redhead.
Red-Head Piper Mod incoming. Lets make it happen people.
Still getting the Pretty Piper mod myself, but I think this look could grow on me.
I can't tell if what you're seeing is just bad video compression. We don't get a good enough look at her threads under the coat, and the buttons look fine to me, but it's hard to tell.
haters gonna haaate
Do you expect all women in your life to hold to some sort of standard of perfect beauty? Some people have big eyebrows. Piper is plenty pretty.
