I like the baseball catcher's pads that guy is wearing in the background, haha.
From what people have said about the Gamescom footage, Diamond City is supposedly led by some military guy, and those armored guys are thier "police force"
Did you see in the footage there was a baseball player statue and a weapon next to it look like a special baseball bat not to sure though seen it in e3 trailer.
They're city guards, clearly. And no one worry, they're wearing knee pads.
I figured it was their police guards inside that area and that piper girl was the newspaper lady.
I see what your saying now, i had no idea what you meant, so that's my reason for asking.
Only if No-bark was the chief editor of the fallout 4 Newspaper. He'd be telling people lies in the papaer about how the world going to end again and it's going to re-start by robots taking over the world. LOL
Do we any idea on her voice actor? There is something curiously familiar with it.
Hmmm, I felt the same...
Then we haven't had much meaningful conversation outside Nora, Codsworth and Dogmeat...
Most games would give a 'first look' at characters 6 months or a year out from release,
and here we are nearly 3 weeks away.
Also im guessing shes not coming out for androids, only iphone ehh????
I strongly believe it's Courtney Ford, though of course I could be wrong.
A Pipe?
The vid shows her using a laser pistol. So maybe small arms energy weapons are her thing.
I hope they release the Quakecon footage of Piper in its entirety because something isn't making sense to me. I thought I read in one of the reviews that we meet her outside Diamond City, and the PC helps her get in. Once inside she asks us to come to her office. So the part that does not make sense is this; if she couldn't get in to Diamond City without our assistance, how can she have an office inside the city? I could have read it wrong, or the reviewer reported it wrong. Either way, I hope the footage will clear this up for me.
I thought it was she that helped the PC get in, and that it angered her boss somehow.
That would make more sense, and hence why I'm curious about the full scene, or at least a bit more of it. Although I can wait until the game comes out if need be to solve my personal confusion on this point.
Camera angles and body animations are great. They really bring the scene to life.
Sadly the horrible lip sync does the exact oposite.
I heard this was a problem with the video, not the game itself. People who have seen both this video and the Quakecon footage (not me) have said the Quakecon version in properly synced.
