Moseyed over to the Fallout Shelter forums to see if anyone explained how to get Piper, and holy crap those people are crabby. And I still don't know how to get Piper.

Right? I made the mistake of perusing it once, and saw people threatening fraud lawsuits over the "unethical" level-up system. It's a land of entitlement and overreaction, even in comparison to gamers in general. If I'd stuck around any longer, I'd have permanent damage to my eyes from rolling them constantly.

Fallout Shelter is pretty neat. Piper looks pretty neat too.

Hey, that update looks pretty awesome actually, now if my phone would actually download it...

Caught me a little off-guard, but I think I like it. Graphics are perfectly capable of being lifelike now, and that can honestly be boring. There needs to be another way for games to have interesting graphics... We saw some of that from the very first teaser but it's most obvious with Piper. Fallout is a stylized world, it should have stylized graphics. I'm not sure how much of this is me rationalizing and how much I actually do like it. Edit: yeah I've watched it a couple times, I love it. Want to play now.

Actually, yes.

I mean, the original Fallouts were stylized af, and at least in terms of the color palette and architecture Fallout 4's visuals seem to match stuff like the 3D cutscenes from the first two Fallouts. It's sort of a mix of that, and an excessively violent Pixar film. Which I think is great.

Reminds me of the Bioshock games a bit, though maybe not that far stylized.

Kinda like the way she 'checks out' the SS as she's talking ... then suggest he meet her later in her office. Doesn't seem odd to me at all.

Yeah, I edited my post to say that I quickly decided I love it. It's making me realize that 3 and NV weren't stylized enough. I'm thinking that now that Fallout is securely their property, Bethesda is more comfortable making bold design choices. I think that will be for the better, every new detail makes me want this game more...
