First thing you plan to do?

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 6:32 pm

What do you plan to do when you crack open the game and get to the menu?

I'm going to do what my friends feel like doing, there really looking forward to the game and they didnt even know about it 2 weeks ago. theres 6 more people supporting you Splash.
I most likely try the Resistance Campaign by alone.

Then security.

(Edit sorry if theres allready a Topic on this Im just helping the forum stay alive) To many Topics on what if instead of what about :)

I usually do multiplayer first and do solo some other time. I just might do solo first though. I'll just have to wait and see.

Look up "awesome reach" (didnt want to link to video because there is some swearing but its freaking funny (its a few min long cartoon))

after watching the video (if you did) imagine that except brink instead of halo.

Literly tho im gonna go and make my character first and such then im going to go through solo (mabey security first but might want to get through resistance first then security for the story) or do all the challanges (mabey with freinds) then when i did them all im going to play multiplayer :D

Lol I dont know how you found that but that is some funny [censored] right there, Close your eyes and listen to It (sound so wrong but funny) The one guy does some pretty weird stuff though.
But back on topic yes I could imagine that in Brink.

Install the game so that it shall load most stuff (if not everything) faster.

Drool over the character customization and guns.

Actually play the game, offline first.

After I know how to use SMART and/or manual parkour, go online/do Challenges.

Rinse repeat.

Assuming their isn't a character customization thing to make a character on the brink site. Try to make a cool looking character in a panic and then start playing the campaign online.

Only reason you will "own" online is because you have 360 and i have a ps3, so i wont be on the same console as you to rip you apart :P

Besides the obvious (creating a character and choosing a side) the first things I expect to do is look through the abilities to try and plan out my build, then play Challenges to unlock the weapons I expect to use a lot of.

Wait a week for Amazon to deliver my copy, swear off the FL mail system, finally get game, and then play through both campaigns before taking it online.

I don't have online on my consoles so I will be playing the Single-Player mode. ^_^

As a shallow gamer who likes to make her characters as pretty and cool-looking as possible, I will spend hours on the character customization page. :D

Then, I will play Single-player Campaign mode as a Medic and stick to that class as much as possible. (I don't like that you can change classes on the go. Kind of ruins the roleplaying aspect a bit for me, lol.)

Not really, being able to change it any time is better, if a gate needs to be destroyed but your a medic.and theres no soldier you can quicky change to do thr job, ussaly have problems like this in other games where i need to kill myself or go on a suicidal rampage to take everyone with me :D just to change my class, lemme tell you suicide suicide bombing is a real bother...

Also...
What system do you have ?

Oh, I understand the use of it, especially if no one is of a certain class for a particular objective. Single-player won't be a problem if the AI changes classes as the developers say they would to suit a situation. (Hopefully, the AI are smart enough. Hate saving idiot AI all of the time in other games.)

Yeah, it's just more of a character thing for me. (Oh, look, my character is an engineer now all of a sudden, lol!) I like playing a certain way as well, so being forced to play another way can be a little irksome for me. (I play RPG's a lot, so that could be why, heh.)

I have a cruddy laptop that can't play games, a Wii, an old XBox360 and PS3 (most recent). I don't have cable-internet (for consoles) and I share all systems with my ENTIRE family (plus cousins and family friends and more). It's a Hispanic thing, lol. One big family. ...Which is why I was a little disappointed with the lack of Local Co-Op in Brink. My sisters and I have SOO much fun playing Borderlands and Gears of War together.
