First thing you will do on Skyrim is...

Post » Sun Oct 02, 2011 11:45 am

Ok so when i started Oblivion, after escaping the initial i imediately went to the "capital" city of the province. Now, with 5 major cities, God knows where i will go. I intend to make it a tradition to visit a major city to get a feel for everything.

So what will you do when u get free of the dungeon we all know u will be put in?

Do u have a tradition?

Do u follow the MQ for a while?

Tell us!

Hmmm depends on who I go for first... I think it should be my nord and head towards the north in search of a tavern to drink in.

Hmmm. You raise a good point there. I feel like I should go and start the main questline. But just before I do that I will level up a tiny bit by scouring the local dungeons for loot and experiance. I will practice my sneak and illusion skills to death then ill start the main quest. Dont want to come to the table unprepared.

Probably escape the rumoured execution... :P but AFTER that I'll make an expedition to the biggest cities. It's what I always do, killing brigands on the way obviously for their items and riches and to free the populace from their terror.. Then I go and start the main quest again :)

I usually wander around the landscape for a while checking things out, killing mudcrabs, picking up plants (nirnroot anyone?), etc. Considering enemy levels will no longer be scaled to my character, however, I may be limited on that in Skyrim, at least in the beginning. I won't start the main quest for quite some time though. I usually save that for last.

Sorry couldn't resist. I'll probably go to the closest population center talking to people and merchants (try stealing something). When I leave I'll get off the road as soon as I can I just do some general exploring, picking up ingredients, picking fights with the wildlife, and well getting a feel for the game.

First and Foremost -- Hunt down and enslave every single argonian i can find, and the ones that wont or arent able to accept the enslavement will be killed. then i will immediatly learn the skills needed for invisibility, duel dagger, sneak, and alteration, and enchantment.
once those tasks are completed i will then begin to explore skyrim's entire map. hunt for (and join) the thieves guild, kill some guards, and try to join the darkbrotherhood.
this has been a tradition i have followed for many years, and will continue to do so in skyrim and beyond.

thankyou

no need to yell at people. If something minor like that makes you go all caps on everyone, maybe forums aren't for you.
