I am very familiar with the process of moding oblivion and after getting FO3 for the pc I thought I best download some mods

What I would like to know is:

1) Are there any unofficial patches for the main game and dlc if so where can I download them.

2) Is there a script optimiser similiar to obse for FO3, if so where can I download.

3) Is there any Overhaul mods like OOO for fallout, if so where can I download (seeing a pattern )

4) Are there any other essential utilities I might need, if so where can I download.

5) Also in the sticky in this forum I read something about there being problems with the 1.5version of fallout 3 and mods, is this still a problem or is it fixed?

1. Yes... search on the Nexus
2. FOSE... somewhere around here, downloads from same site as OBSE.
3. FWE + MMM does it for me. There is also Arwen's Tweaks and FOOK. Look into FOIP as well.
4. FOMM... Nexus
5. It has been rectified to some extent in 1.6/1.7 Read mod readmes for relevant details and be aware old mods pre 1.5 and not updated may have problems.
