Go fish

As the title suggests I would like to be able to buy a rod and fish in rivers or from boats then sell the fish or eat them for my supper, any one else?

Loved fishing in Okami, and a bit in Zelda. I would like to see fishing available, as a way to pass time with a fun mini-game. Sure, there are dragons everywhere and the destroyer is waking up, but I NEED to get that swordfish!

So if we want a city in Skyrim, we should buy one too?

Buy a fishing rod instead of Skyrim.

What I'm saying is maybe add a bit of a survival element to the game, seeing as you can kill deer for meat , it probably won't make it in I'm easy what ever

As to Djoan, you can already hunt for food. Why would fishing(or even farming, as some people want) affect your game in any way? Especially since fishing isnt exactly a new concept and easy to tack on.

As the title suggests I would like to be able to buy a rod and fish in rivers or from boats then sell the fish or eat them for my supper, any one else?

Actually I dont care about being able to fish. But now I want pub games.

It looks like there is a http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5172/5435786585_0580209d5e_o.jpg mounted on the wall in the tavern screenshot. (behind/above the woman sweeping)

This leads to one question... With crafting can I make a swordfish? :batman:

Edit* Oh really Djoan Nefarius? I guess you missed the memo... Where you can now take up jobs in Skyrim that are not attached to skills. Such as woodcutting, mining, cooking, etc. Fishing is not out of the question.

hm well....and rpg is a ROLE PLAYING game so uhh...it kind of if a "life simulator" in a sense, also it'd give you more thing you could add to the cooking profession

Yes fishing is not out the question.Even if it wont be in a original game probably mod-makers will put it in.

Whats wrong with Cooking and Fishing and anything else. This is a Role Playing game. More roles to play the better.

Seriously...That kind of stuff is not out of place at all in a RPG. I really don't understand the dislike. I mean, it's not hurting anyone by being in the game...

I see you don't understand what RPG means. It means Role Playing Game, which means we want options besides fighting and questing.

Well said.

I want to experience lots of different things in Skyrim, not just hack/slash..explore..rinse and repeat.

Oh and adding extra things does not make it like fable or whatever.
