^^Topic title is my thoughts concerning exclusive crafting mats only available in Cyrodiil.

I recall the days fishing naked as my little Alliance Gnome in Alterac Valley, being cursed at by my team mates while trolls danced around me. It was a good time in my life.

Then they took it away, my fish from Alterac Valley, and all that was good died that day beside that icey pond.

Then, I had to fight. Naked.

So I ask now, could this be a problem? I did not reach lv10 in beta, I'm not sure how it works, but will 50% of a 'side' gathering materials ruin the 'pvp' side of things?

Nope. There are pve quests and dungeons in cyrodiil that have nothing to do with actually helping your faction take keeps. There are also lots of resource nodes. So no, no one will care you're fishing.

I'm not a pvp'er although I used to love the early days of wow where we could open world PvP like attacking tarren mill or attacking iron forge but in ESO I do intend to go there to gather. Its obvious I'm going to get ganked! I intend to park a permanent room there just to gather nodes and if I am attacked more than a few times or they camp the spawn point then I'll just log to another toon until they grow bored.
