There is a quite a few diffrent kind of bait. Any tips to what is better for what fish or water type etc?

Also, I thought fish were for eating, but it says "trophy" on all the fish i caught. So I cant use them for anything?

Fish can be sold for gold, and I suppose there may be a Fate or Torchlight mechanic where a fish may have a nice item inside. The trophy thing might be for the future with housing, and I didn't notice much difference between minnows, crawlers, or worms, but we were just testing low level areas.

Otherwise, fishing in game is like fishing IRL, relax a bit.

Not really. What I did notice is that some bait has a better drop chance on better loot though. However I did fish up some fish that could be used as bait for bigger fishes. Never tested it though.

I got a bit of everything last beta weekend all from used bait, fishes for vendoring, fishes for bait, recipes... even got a item that gave bonus stats when crafting an armor piece

Fishing is fun to others, I do not like fishing in RL -- lol I am glad that they have that in the game anyways.
