Fix pets please. WHY do they take up "space"

Post » Mon Mar 07, 2016 6:10 pm

Pets need an overhaul. They are arguable an hindrance in-vault.

Normally a big room can have 6 dwellers working. not with pets. This number gets slaughtered in half to 3. Not cool. Remove the use of Vault space for pets. Please for the love of all that's holy please do not let pets take up "space".... There are so many bad pets that take up space they will never replace what the output of another dweller is worth.

Only wasteland explorers really get benefits from pets. But the nerf to keep the number of explorers limited is still in place. Insane. Remove the cap.

Junk. The rarest of rare legendary junk can be used to painfully craft a weapon that is marginally better than the MIRV. Trivially better? Cmon guys. And "legendary" junk? Cmon. There is literally one weapon, Dragon's Maw, that is now a useful weapon upgrade. One.

The random events, particularly National Guard Depot no longer produce legendary gear. Please fix this.

Also exploring dwellers NEED to be able to drop useless loot (anything not legendary or rare). Its such a waste and disappointment to send out the best level 50 in Lyon's power armor orX-01 Mk VI power armor for over 100 hours to come back with a stack of BB-guns.

You can still have six dwellers in a big room, but only three of them can have pets. It's not like a pet takes up one of the six slots reserved for dwellers.

Also, if some of the pets you own are sub-par in your eyes and they're taking up a storage space, sell them. Problem solved. You don't HAVE to equip every dweller with a pet.

What's the big deal?
