Crysis you better be working on a patch. All the matches I have been playing there is usually one player will full green bars. Everyone else is playing with 1 or 2 yellow bars and the lag is horrible. People warping all over the place, kill cams that don't match what you were doing, etc.

It is great that you were working on the graphics, but the MP network code is a complete pile of crap!

Hopefully its just launch multiplayer jitters.

Although the point of taking away the demo was to ensure a "flawless launch" hmmmm...but who really believed that anyway

No lag here, when I got in matches there would be 2 ppl with full bars, 2 on yellow, 1 red and the rest 3 green bars.

I am doing terrible at this game so far. I'm not the best at FPS but I am getting my ass handed to me. I've unloaded a full clip from a Jakal shotgun into someone's back and they've turned around and taken me down with 3 or 4 shots from the SCAR. I like the game so far but this is really annoying. I've also unloaded full clips into someone with the SCAR and seems to have no effect at times. I've studied the killcams and it looks like my shooting is off. Plus when I finally kill someone it seems totally random. Is it lag? I've never had a problem this bad with lag in a game before. I'm not saying I've never had lag but this is horrendous. Anybody else having problems with lag?

I'm pretty sure that's lag you're suffering from. Sometimes I get a one hit kill with a Jackal and sometimes I expend both clips and not get anything but an assist. The servers have definitely improved from the PS3, but they're still not perfect yet. My guess is give it a month or two before Crytek fixes this.

What was your connection like? Check the scoreboard. If you have 4 green bars you're most likely host and you will kick ass. You will know you're host if at the beginning of the match you see a screen telling you it's waiting for the other players. Even if the host is on your team you'll probably be okay. However....if the host is on the other team you're basically screwed. I have put two full clips of SCAR ammo into enemies with no kill. And it will seem like everyone who is killing you can drop you in a nano second. There's really nothing you can do about it unfortunately. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

I feel your pain. I'm no pro either but I do generally manage a 1.30-1.80 ratio in most games, (and that's never camping or sniping and I always put objectives first), but here I know I'm going to get scores like 3-10 if the host is on the other team.

I havent had a signal better than red yet and I have played around 5 hours. I just hope its becase Im in a part of the world where perhaps people havent bought the game yet ( I live In Taiwan ) . When I hear guys talking its invariably Americans or Australians at the moment. I think If you want a good game you need to befriend a bunch of guys who live pretty close. If this isnt just location that is creating the lag , I'll have to take it back and exchange it for another game. After all we play these games for a challenge and enjoyment not to be taken apart simply because another guy is in another timezone. After I get owned I'm tempted to dig out modern warfare and go 35-2 on almost any maps with a nice clean green signal. But on the other hand im determined to get into this game because I like the look of it tbh.

I don't have any of these issues, except for the fact that I have to load a few bullets in while the enemy kills me in like 4 bullets. Host advantage/nanosuit is the problem there.

servers dont seem bad from my time since launch havnt played today will here in about an hr after i put my kids to sleep loving this game

Same here. Today I had the drop on a player, shooting him in the back after unloading most of the clip from the scar into his back he turned around and dropped me in 3 to 4 shots. I'm starting to get really pissed off. I'm thinking of deleting everything and starting over and coming back when everything is fixed. My current K/D is .39 and I've never had a K/D that low. Looks like I'm back on Homefront for now.

This will sound like a stupid question but: You are activating Armour mode every time you enter a fire fight right?

Basically full damage is only delivered to the chest. Shots landing on the lower arms, stomach, legs and feet all have reduced damage. This is very different to COD where damage is the same everywhere except for a headshot.

Shots to kill with SCAR (within 25 meters):

Head: 2
CHest/Upper Arm: 4
Stomach/Lower Arm/Upper Leg: 5
Lower leg: 7
Foot: 14

This is not accounting for someone with Armour activated

I have the same problem, I'm neither the best at FPS but I rarely go negative on any of them, on this one I always go negative so far. Seems I die in 0,5 sec while it takes me 3-4 sec shooting at someone before he dies.

I am from Europe and I think that they should give us the option: Local Only... Everytime when I play online i get into matches with people that have bad connection (1 or 2 bars only). When we have the option like local or local only then the connection would be a lot better? (look at BO) Crysis is a good looking game though, but with this bad connection it's not worth playing the game online right now...

I hope it get fixed soon!

Oh okay. I'm used to you guys getting your games on Fridays, lol. If you're only getting one or two bars every time there's definitely a problem. My Internet is nothing special and I generally have 3 bars. If it's anything less I quit the match because I know I'm going to be destroyed.
