Well the host should switch sides every time just to keep things fair. Or at least every few games which is how it's been for me so far.

i think that the switching sides thing is gay y cant they just do what treyarch did in two steps
1.put the matchmaking filter in
2.keep one host that can support everybody in the game

Why would you want them to do anything treyarch did? The CoD host system is a joke, you want a good host system look back to SOCOM II. Host could leave and you would never know it, also KZ3 has a great host system as well, you know the host has left but it doesn't pase the damn game because of it and. KZ3's bullet register system is also top notch, doesn't matter if the lag is there, if you hit the person it knows it and they will eventually drop.

The bullet detection does need some work. It's not the greatest, I agree KZ3 has better connections and hit detection!

We hear the same story from every single new game that is released about connectivity, lag, etc. Has anyone taken a look at their own connection? There are many variables with regards to connectivity, time of day... how many devices are being used in your house ( I know personally I have 2 desktops 2 laptops 3 gaming systems) that are up and running the majority of the day. These are all things that are going to be factored into connectivity. Even with all those devices connected to my home network (and being used) I rarely have any connectivity issues with any game.

Do yourselves a favor, jump on your pc and run a line speed test, not only that but check for packet loss and latency. You might just find out that its on your end. As far as the matchmaking system is concerned, your always going to have some type of issue with that. The system generally looks for the best connection relative to location of the players. Some people are always gonna get the shaft.

which is why when the game came out no one could party up, constant booting from lobby, and the lag was horrible. Not to mention second chance with the damn lag the game had and still has(you put one whole clip into someone, *but oh wait they go into second chance* now you get owned *quadruple face palm* BO is a P.o.S imho. I enjoy mw2 more than that crap game. Not to mention that mw2 looks better and feels smoother than B.O. But to each his own i guess.

I agree with fixing the matchmaking system. It's the only thing that's really letting the MP down for me at the minute. I've made a petition to get the filter added: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=13450

Hopefully they'll pay attention if people make the effort to be organised in voicing their want for it.

I noticed a lot of the times if I am the first person to join the lobby, I usually get 4 full green bars.

Definitely. My connection is so bad that competing in multiplayer is impossible. Black Ops P2P was mostly great, but even it doesn't stack up to KZ3's dedicated servers.

Atleast it got fixed. Treyarch keeps updating their community, and while PC side of Crytek has been patched already, PS3 community haven't even heard a wimper from them. GG Crytek. Deeply disappoint.

Location: Australia

I think this says it all, I'm sorry dude but Australia is a HORRIBLE place for matchmaking because your pretty split up from Europe and America which is mainly where the game players are I agree matchmaking isn't great anyway, I'm from England and commonly get 2 bars BUT remember Australia is not the sort of country you wanna be if your an online gamer :)
