I FIXed my Connectivity Issue. HOPE THIS CAN HELP YOU TOO!

I guess many of you have called EA support for help and they probably would give you an UOtrace and some instructions like turn off your firewall blah blah blah. I have tried all those before and still got "An Error has Occoured. Please check your network connectivity" message.

So, I wonder it maybe my NAT problem. But after I installed my game on my friend's laptop which uses the same network I am using, I realized the MP works fine on his laptop. We both use Win7 and with the firewall on. What makes the difference?

Then I opened my virus scan program McaFee. You can't simply turn off this program in your system, BUT you can turn off its functions. So, with every function and scan off. I tried the MP again, fingers crossed.

It WORKed!!!! No more Check connectivity messages and I can play games without any problems.

Try this too, especially if you are in university areas.

Firewall or your router won't do any bad as long as you allow Crysis 2 to run in your system.

Hope this can help some people who were having the same problem I had for 3 weeks:)

I also realised that my problems were local and not remote.

It is local, but still the game's issue as my BFBC2 works just fine and so do many other games.

Just connect to a server from your favorite list or recent servers. This does work 98% of the time. I posted a thread about it but it got buried under tons of useless dx11 and whine fest threads. You shouldn't have to disable software to make the damn game run without any problems.

In my case i use the free version of avast...and it work...just had to enable Crysis 2 in the windows 7 firewall but that's all.
When you have experience on hamachi, it's easy to check where your connectivity fail.

if you pick a load of servers as favourites you can log in to them next time you play if youve got connection problems, same with bfbc2, In the uk most of us are on crappy homehubs that dont set NAT correctly as next time the box refreshes it puts it default, strict, port forward to get full cone :)
