I sold the game for a full refund awhile back and with this new patch I must ask. is it fixed? can I use my saves? can I trust the series again?

seems to depend on who you talk to, the people who refuse to start a new game seem to have the same problems they had before the patch, the people who have started a new character seem to be saying the problems are fixed.

lighting fixtures acting up after the patch still... after the patch the weathered gun i had is gone. jump roping with the gun in your hands still there...
just minor annoyances so far...

For me most appears to be fixed, although the game has still frozen on me once so far with about 3 hours of playing. I can put up with it as long as it doesn't happen too often. I still encounter the occassion "overhead gun" when sneaking which really irritates me, but I can live with it.

I hope that they will continue working on these remaining issues, and once they fix them, I hope that you will return to playing Fallout: New Vegas.

After the patch i have no problem with dlc error and corrupted saves. I can use all of my saves again no problem. HOWEVER! There is a ton of bugs left! My companions dissapear or won't do what i tell them etc. And the real frikkin christmas present bethesda has given me is a bug where my character freezes completely in V.A.T.S!! I just stand there while my enemy attacks!!

i can finally play! (i ahd dlc bug) so i'm not exactly sure about the other bugs cuz i never really ran into them yet
